Today we said goodbye to our Y11 group, as they left us to begin study leave and prepare for their GCSE exams. As ever it was a day of mixed emotions on both sides. In many ways, our Y11 should feel that they have outgrown ‘the nest’ and they will, no doubt, be ready for the challenge of 6th form. I do hope they will look back on their years at the school with fondness, particularly the bonds they have made with their teachers and the quality of friendships made.
We will miss them, and we wish all of our school leavers and their parents (many of whom have been with us for a long time) well for the future.
