Open Morning Success

We had a very busy Open Morning last Saturday and I thought the buildings have never looked better. You can view the highlights reel by clicking here. Our tour guides did us proud, as ever, and there was a lovely buzz around the sites, particularly at Bateman Street.

It was a huge success with so many interested families. We have already welcomed some prospective new faces into our classroom this week. The students who helped us on Saturday were an absolute joy and were undoubtedly what made for such a great atmosphere. How fantastic to be in a school where you can grab any student at any time to act as a guide, a spoke-person, a subject specialist and be completely proud of them. A huge thank you to their equally impressive parents who were on hand smiling and friendly, ready to give much needed answers.
Dr Armitage was over the moon with the musical acts – they almost bought the house down, beautiful voices and performances. The inaugural speech from our new Head Prefect was heartfelt and honest – well done Ed.
