A Week of Achievement and Community at Sancton Wood

This past week has reflected everything that makes Sancton Wood such a special place to learn and grow — creativity, ambition, kindness, and the joy of learning together.

Our Senior School production of Mary Poppins was a triumph of talent and teamwork. Students brought this much-loved story to life with polished performances, spirited musical numbers and imaginative, student-designed sets. Their confidence and creativity shone brightly on stage, supported at every step by the dedication of staff and the leadership of Mr Sadler.

Meanwhile, this morning’s Senior School Sports Day showcased a different kind of excellence. Students competed with determination and genuine sportsmanship, cheering each other on with warmth and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful reminder of how our pupils support one another — win or lose.

ISA Athletics – Welcoming schools from across the region to our campus.
Year 9 Arts Showcase – A celebration of our students’ creativity and imagination.
Year 8 Scott Polar Museum Trip – Exploring extraordinary stories of exploration and resilience.
Prep Sports Day – A summer highlight for pupils and families alike.
Cultural Enrichment Visits – Including Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre and the David Hockney exhibition.
Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions – Building confidence, leadership and unforgettable memories.
Year 5 at Kentwell Hall – A fully immersive Tudor experience.

A special mention goes to our Year 11 students who are working with real maturity as they prepare for their upcoming examinations. We are enormously proud of their effort and commitment.

A School That Moves Quickly — Because Children Grow Quickly
