Ed started his teaching career out in South Africa where he worked as a Gap Student and expedition assistant. This experience showed him what an excellent pastoral education could be. He then went off to the University of Birmingham where he was awarded his BA in Medieval and Modern History. After University, Ed went to Switzerland and worked as an Expeditioner, Housemaster and History teacher at two international schools. Ed then returned to the UK working in Surrey and then Cambridge. Ed’s passion for extra-curriculars and trips has shaped his career, and he has brought this to Sancton Wood.
If he is not in school, he is either out running, cycling or off in his camper van with his wife, son and dog.
