Nurturing academic excellence for bright futures.
We are delighted to share that the full ISI inspection reports for Sancton Wood Nursery, Prep and Senior School are now available. The reports paint a highly positive picture of life at Sancton Wood, highlighting the strength of our community and the quality of education across all stages of the school.
Across all three settings, inspectors recognised:
These findings reflect our commitment to creating a nurturing environment where every child is known, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The latest inspections were conducted under the updated ISI framework. Unlike previous inspections, schools are no longer awarded graded judgements such as “Excellent” or “Outstanding.” Instead, schools are assessed on whether they meet key standards.
We are pleased to confirm that Sancton Wood met the standard in every area inspected, including:
This reflects the strength and consistency of provision across the school.
The Nursery School inspection was equally positive. Inspectors praised:
These findings recognise the exceptional work of our Nursery team in supporting children from their earliest years.
Under the new framework, schools are also given a recommended next step to support continued development. Inspectors confirmed that pupils make good progress throughout the school and recommended focusing on ensuring consistently high levels of effectiveness in every lesson.
This reflects our ambition to build on strong foundations and continue enhancing outcomes for every pupil.
The reports highlight what makes Sancton Wood special — a caring community where pupils feel supported, confident and inspired. Inspectors described the school as a “happy place where pupils feel welcome and safe.”
We are proud of this recognition and grateful to our staff, pupils and families who contribute to making Sancton Wood such a positive and supportive environment.
