Easter and Summer Enrichment Programme

Registration Now Open 

We are pleased to announce that booking for our Easter and Summer holiday opportunities programme for 4–18 year old students are now open for registration. 

You’ll see that there is a wide variety of activities on offer, across all three of our city centre sites.  At Bateman Street, GCSE and A-Level students have the opportunity for immersive academic experiences, whilst at St. Pauls we have a fantastic range of exciting opportunities on offer for younger students to get involved in and at Station Road our 4-6 yr old students can enjoy creative activities with our Reception teacher, Mrs Zermane. Finally, thanks to our Dukes’ partner organisation InvestIN we are offering our students discounted places on a whole host of their immersive summer career programmes. 

Academic Summer Courses at Bateman Street
Summer Programmes 14-16 years

These seven courses all employ a creative and communicative methodology to enable students to develop their skills. Students will work collaboratively to demonstrate their learning and all courses feature a micro-internship, through which they will have hands-on experience of working in their chosen subject. Each course is 2 weeks long and includes 25 hours academic engagement, a social programme, two industry experiences, and 2 lectures by a visiting speaker.

  • Business 
  • Architecture 
  • Engineering
  • Natural Sciences 

Hosted by Sancton Wood school and provided in partnership with our Dukes colleagues at Summer Boarding Courses (SBC), these courses are open to students from all schools.  Sancton Wood students will receive a significantly discounted space.

Easter and Summer Holiday Activity Clubs 4-14 years 

Monday, 8th April – Friday 12th April
Monday, 22nd July – Friday 23rd August

The camp is open to Sancton Wood students and children from other schools and will provide outstanding Ofsted regulated Easter and Summer activity day camps with the primary function of delivering a very high level of care and welfare during the school holidays. We will deliver this childcare through a fantastic range of exciting activities whether these be in the art room, the sports hall or sports pitch. The camp delivers the outstanding levels of care you would expect from Sancton Wood whilst ensuring that children of all ages are thoroughly engaged and inspired to try new activities and make new friends. 

As well as providing safe activities and experienced staff, our activities encourage the positive physical and social welfare of children. Click here for details about how we ensure your child’s welfare while in our care.

Immersive Summer Experiences

Provided by our partner Dukes organisation, InvestIN who offer students a once-in-a-lifetime experience of their dream career before they’ve even left school, with exclusive insider advice on how to succeed. Industry-leading professionals design every one of these experiences, guiding students through authentic career simulations, interactive activities, inspiring site visits, personalised career guidance and networking opportunities. Students can attend  a 1 day weekend masterclass for a taste of their chosen industry or a 5, 10 or 15 day summer experience for a fully-immersive, 360-degree look at their dream career.

Mrs Zermane’s Holiday Club

This runs as usual at the end of the term for Sancton Wood students only.  The dates for the summer holiday club are: 

Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th February

Thursday 28th March, Tuesday 2nd April, Weds 3rd April, Thurs 4th April

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children only.
