We are off to a chilly start in Reception with our ‘cold’ theme. It is a shame we haven’t seen much real snow so far – my fingers are crossed that the children get to experience the real thing!
The children have done some lovely work based around our theme. They have written about snowmen, describing the colour of the hat. They have painted snowmen and we even have a snowman called Frosty who has come to live in the Icy corner in the classroom. He even has different outfits to wear!
We have also painted some lovely frosty, sparkly trees as part of our winter topic. Our classroom certainly looks like Jack Frost has visited!
