We are extremely proud to share that Sebastian, a former pupil of our school, is the winner of the 2018 Whitbread Prize for Outstanding GCSE’s.
Sebastian achieved a remarkable 10 Grade 9’s at GCSE on results day 2018. Grade 9 is part of the new mark scheme of GCSE results, where only 2% of the country can receive the top grade.
As well as outstanding GCSE results, throughout the years at Sancton Wood, Sebastian demonstrated exceptional service to and involvement in, wider aspects to the school and community life including holding the title of Head Boy in his final year.
This is an incredible, recognised award and we are thrilled for Sebastian and wish him every success in his future ambitions.
