We marked World Environment Day (theme this year is #BeatAirPollution) by making cloth masks by decorating triangles of cloth. Face masks are a great symbol to show leaders we want to breathe clean air and there were some lovely designs created with pens and collage. We learnt the horrifying fact that 92% of the world’s population does not breathe clean air.
On the theme of beating air pollution, lots of people in the school made a special effort before half term to use sustainable transport to get to school, where that was possible several children opted to walk, cycle or ‘park and stride’ during the week.
