Friday 9th September, three days in to the start of a new school year, we proudly held the Grand Opening of our two new school sites.
Having outgrown our much loved home on St Paul’s Road, two new sites were acquired in which to give our Nurseries & Pre Prep School and Upper School students the desired space to continue to flourish. Leaving the Prep School at St Paul’s Road to spread themselves out and make the most of the space now available – a new Performing Arts studio, student Hub and changing rooms all welcome new additions.
Our Nurseries and Pre Prep School has moved in to 17 Station Road, whilst the Upper School has taken over at 3 & 5 Glisson Road.
A big thank you to all parents, staff and friends of the school who came along last Friday to our new Station Road site to join us in raising a toast to new beginnings. We were delighted to have the Chairman of the Independent Schools Association Stuart Nicholson attend and master of ceremonies Richard Osman – whose two children have both attended Sancton Wood School, his son Sonny our current Head-Boy – officially ‘cut the ribbon’ and open the new sites.
