On Wednesday last week, we spent a hugely enjoyable day at Duxford Imperial War Museum.
We spent the morning as evacuees, learning what school would have been like and how to keep ourselves safe, putting on gas masks and dealing with incendiary bombs. Well done everyone on the authentic looking costumes!
We then spent a happy couple of hours exploring the parts of the museum dedicated to the home front (with a side detour through Concorde…)
