Year 1 & 2 have been getting creative in their new Art room…
We have had fun, laughter and a lot of creative exploration.
In Year 1 we have had a colourful adventure – learning to mix secondary colours through the use of primary colours. We made an entire display of the Teddy Bear’s Picnic by using our new found skills, and only yellow, red and blue paints to create a vivid masterpiece of picnicking. In the next edition we will be able to show our proud achievements.
In Year 2 we have made a display celebrating the beauty of the autumn season. We used a mixture of natural and manufactured materials to explore the human relationship to nature with a symbolically resonant image of a scarecrow in a field.
