Last week Year 3 were lucky enough to go on a trip to Wandlebury Country Park to learn about the Iron Age as part of our topic this half term. The children had a wonderful time making bread and cooking it on the open fire. The adults seemed to enjoy the fire more than the children to keep them warm! We loved walking around the ditch of the Iron Age fort and learning about, then making sides of an Iron Age house. Do ask the the children what the fancy name for a fence is!
