Last week, two-day interviews and assessments were held for pre- selected candidates (there were numerous applicants!) for my position, Head of Nurseries and Pre-Prep.
It was a high quality field, and in the end it was a very tough decision between two outstanding teachers out of the five excellent candidates.
Miss Nicola Henson is a keen runner of half marathons who enjoys gardening too. She is a very highly qualified teacher, with experience of teaching the whole of the Pre-Prep age range. She taught in Peterborough for four years and Lincolnshire for five, and holds a post of responsibility in her current school. Nicola is an Early Years’ Foundation Stage expert, and passionate about providing the highest quality educational experience for every child. She loves our ethos, admires our provision, and is very excited by the prospect of leading our wonderful staff team, and getting to know our children, parents and carers. It is so good to be handing the reins to someone of Miss Henson’s proven outstanding ability. I can thoroughly enjoy retirement knowing the school will be in such capable, safe and caring hands. I am sure you will give her a warm welcome.
