Despite the wet weather we were very lucky to see a great selection of animals. Both the tiger and family of lions came right up to their fences allowing the children to have a really good look, they were quite amazing and held the children’s attention for a long time. The Owls and Kookaburras were beautiful to see up close and the Kangaroos and Wallaby put on a fantastic show for the children. We couldn’t decide who enjoyed watching who more, it was very funny to watch.
Just as it was becoming to wet for the children (and us) we went inside for a picnic lunch which did wonders to lift the children’s spirits. They were such troopers and bounced back in no time, full of energy ready to enjoy their animal encounter with a very friendly bearded dragon and snake.
