Congratulations to the winners of our ‘Portraits & Hobbies’ photography competition. It was great to see so many of the students from the Prep & Upper schools get involved and submit entries. A selection of shortlisted entries were chosen by Mrs Worker & Mr Settle and the winning photographs chosen by a combination of staff and social media vote – thank you to everyone who voted via either our Facebook or Instagram feeds. School staff certainly found the vote a tricky one.
The competition had both a Prep & Upper School category, with awards being given to the top three photographs in each category.
Drum roll please…
The winner of the Prep School category was Max M in Year 8 with this wonderfully timed shot of the abandoned West Pier in Brighton.
The winner in the Upper School category was this dramatic photograph of a Beach Hut at Southwold Harbour taken by Cory in Year 11.
Runners up in the competition(s) were Libby (Year 8 – Prep School) and Kyran (Year 10 – Upper School) and in third place were photographs taken by Maddie (Year 6 – Prep School) and Jonathan (Year 10 – Upper School).
Prep School Runner Up – Photo taken by Libby (Year 8)
